Hello, I am Henry’s Mum. I remember the first time my son joined Camp Quality for its very first camp. I was very nervous as he had never left us and gone camping with unfamiliar people or in unfamiliar surroundings. On the first night of camp, Henry called home feeling rather homesick. At that moment, I wanted to go and pick him up and take him home, but my husband reassured me that there would be lots of people taking care of him and told me not to worry.

The next night Henry called home again. He said he was having a great time and told me about the various activities he had tried. I remember when he came home after his first camp, he talked about it for the whole week!

Ever since Henry joined Camp Quality, he has made many new friends. From being a scared and shy boy, he has become an enthusiastic and courageous boy, something that has greatly taken me by surprise. I feel so proud of him.

I am indebted to everyone at the Camp Quality office and its volunteers and hope that they continue to strive and serve those kids in need.
