COMMUNITY FUNDRAISING
IN ACTION
The British Chamber of Commerce in
Hong Kong presented a cheque for $220,000
to our honorary chairman, Prof. Patrick
Yuen – funds raised at the Dame
Ellen MacArthur Dinner in association
with B&Q Asia Ltd in April. Held
at the Ritz Carlton Hotel, the event
was a huge success with the evening’s
auction providing the majority of
the money raised.

At the Kiehl’s grand opening
this month (the world’s first
Kiehl’s airport boutique) Nuance-Watson,
L’Oreal and Airport Authority
Hong Kong officiated celebrated the
opening by presenting a cheque to
Camp Quality Hong Kong for $50,000
– which was raised through their
“Shop-for-a-Cause” campaign.
Accepting the donation on behalf of
Camp Quality were local artists, Don
& Mandy who performed at our Children’s
Christmas Party at The Repulse Bay
last December.

The Hong Kong Yacht
Club continued to support Camp Quality
Hong Kong, during Ellen’s MacArthur’s
Asian Circuit Record tour, Yacht Club
members donated a total $44800 to
Camp Quality. Presenting the cheque
to Camp Quality’s Susan Wong
was Dame Ellen herself!

With support of organizations
like B&Q Asia Ltd, The British
Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong,
L’Oreal and Nuance-Watson and
The Royal Hong Kong Yacht Club, Camp
Quality Hong Kong will be able to
take more children recovering from
cancer on our special camping programs
in Hong Kong and China.
