Camp Quality “Amazing
Race” Challenge
Imagine going around Kowloon and
the New Territories searching for
clues with only $20 of loose change?!
Camp Quality was looking for a fun
& challenging program for our
senior campers this summer. We came
up with the Camp Quality “ Amazing
Race” Challenge.

With the support of the CECES organization,
Camp Quality organize this one day
program for our senior campers on
July 23rd.

We sent them all over the kowloon
Peninsula, places like Hong Kong Poly
U, Hunghom Train Station, Tai Po Market
and even Tai Po Railway Museum searching
for clues and answers to their tasks.
We even got them to asked foreign
tourists to pose for a photo shot
at the Avenue of Stars!

We really did put them on the spot
for some serious fun and action.

We had over 40 teenagers enrolled
in this event. The campers were them
split into 7 groups of 6 participants.
Each group was given a map and sent
all over Kowloon and the New Territories
to popular spots and tourist places
as well. The idea was to build up
their individual confidence and generate
team spirit.

The program was particularly effective
on the day since it got everyone working
as a team through planning, strategy
and of course some element of leadership
skills too. Each camper had to be
able to communicate effectively and
delegate with other campers in their
own team in order for them to complete
all the tasks and win the competition.
