Christmas Carnival @ The Repulse
Bay
Let it snow, let it snow, let it
snow!! It was a truly festive occasion
when hundreds of campers and companions
headed to The Repulse Bay on Thursday
22nd December.

The Camp Quality annual
children’s Christmas carnival
at The Repulse Bay was a huge success
this year with over 250 campers, companions,
and volunteers attending our Christmas
party.

The Children's Christmas
Carnival is always our last children's
event for the year and this year’s
Carnival proved a major success. Our
kids, some of whom spend months, even
years in hospital while receiving
treatment for cancer, look forward
to this major event so very much.
Children both in remission and in
between treatment were all invited
to the Repulse Bay for this very special
event.

This annual event is
a joint project, generously supported
by Martyn Sawyer and his team at The
Repulse Bay. Once again a large number
of our devoted and dedicated companions
were present, many having taken the
day off work to attend our event.
This year a wonderful group of young
rotaractors from various secondary
schools helped us with six exciting
games-stalls. The other fun activity
booths were provided by D! Concept
and The Repulse Bay supplied the festive
catering.

We also had an obstacle
course bouncy castle, a martial arts
demonstration, a musical performance,
and for the first time real snow!

In addition, there was a huge garden
filled with gifts of all sizes for
every camper to redeem. All this and
much more kept the children very entertained
and amused during the party.

Santa Claus was, as always, a great
hit with the campers. PP Ramesh Chugani
worked his magic playing Santa yet
again.
A special word of thanks must go
to Mrs. Judy Mui who has always been
a strong supporter of our charity.
Our sincere thanks to you for arranging
the three EEG artists to come and
perform for the children and also
for donating 300 film tickets for
the campers to see the new EEG movie!
You’ve helped add smiles on
these children’s faces seeing
their local idols and the happiness
and excitement around was contagious!

Special thanks also to Annie Chan
who, as well as being the Marketing
Manager at The Repulse Bay, is also
a lovely lady with a big heart. Thanks
for all the help you’ve given
us with the planning of our Christmas
party every year. You make our task
even easier - Thanks Annie!

Mr. Martyn Sawyer, what can we say!
Our annual Christmas Carnival is such
an important celebration and a very
special and fun event for both campers
and companions alike. You have helped
us tremendously by providing us with
an amazing venue each year, which
in turn brings some very happy moments
for our campers. It’s our privilege
to work with you and everyone at The
Repulse Bay and we are so proud of
your support and friendship throughout
the past four years. Once again on
behalf of us all at Camp Quality,
thank you so much!!

Finally to all our companions,
supporters and volunteers and anyone
we’ve missed out, THANK YOU!!
Without your contributions there would
be no Camp Quality!

Happy
New Year to you all & See you
all in 2006!!
