On February 1st. Camp Quality honored our team of dedicated companions and volunteers for their service and dedication with it’s 9th Annual Appreciation Dinner. The evening was spent with more than 150 volunteers that help bring smiles and laugher to hundreds of special children which Camp Quality supports each year.

When we talk about volunteers, most people will think of our companions and our companions do play a crucial role in the success of our program, however, we do have a number of very talented professionals also involved with our program, and they include a team of dedicated medical professionals, our doctors, the St. John’s first-aiders, a team of wonderful guys whose support and service exemplifies a dedication and commitment to our mission, a group of active registered nurses as well as various talented individuals who always give us their time and support.

Congratulations to the following volunteers:

Companion of the Year – Ms. Susan Chan and Ms.Yu Mei Ha

Both have been dedicated companions of Camp Quality for over 5 years and are always enthusiastic and both are very committed to their camper as well as to our charity’s work.

A special award was given to Mr. Ben Ngai who has been an exceptional volunteer to the charity. Ben is always willing to do whatever is required to help the charity and has been assisting in nearly all of our IT related matters for the past 12 months. He is always enthusiastic about sharing his skills.

We also gave special thanks to Ms. Annie Chan of The Repulse Bay . It is always a pleasure to work with her and all the staff at the Camp Quality office and our companion volunteers too appreciate her professionalism and caring nature!

Those in attendance enjoyed a gourmet Chinese banquet meal, awards presentation, raffle draw, and a special dance performance by our own Ms. Christine Ma as well as a performance by her dance instructor Ms. Mey Jen to the delight of those in attendance. Our sincere thanks to Ms. Mey Jen for her performance but special thanks must be given to our own Christine for her bravery!!
