Quality Science Museum Visit
Camp Quality took a group of over
50 campers and companions on an educational
visit to the Science Museum in TST
last Saturday.
With the aim of facilitating our
campers to explore and operate the
Science Museum’s exhibits more
effectively, we signed up for one
of their excellent guided tours. Our
group was split into two and each
tour was conducted by the museum’s
own experienced guides and the service
included explaining complicated science
and principles behind the exhibits
and assisting our campers to operate
the various exhibits on three floors.

The tour definitely helped to make
science a lot simpler to learn and
fun to understand with their explanation
and professional guidance. The kids
found it extremely fun to see their
shadow frozen onto a wall as well
as having a great time at the Optical
Illusion exhibit whereby different
structures and images gives a false
perception of things. This was indeed
a wonderful collection of amazing
eye-popping illusions, which “fooled”
and challenge our common perceptions
and gave the campers a different insight
into one of sciences greatest mysteries
– how we think and perceive
things and objects!

This museum definitely had enough
variety to suit visitors of all ages
and interests and our visit turn out
to be very educational as well as
fun. The campers definitely got to
enrich their science knowledge not
only through operating funny, interactive
and educational exhibits, but we hope
that it would perhaps arouse some
keen interest amongst our young scientists
of tomorrow!!
