"Sai Kung '99"
October 22-24th - 1999

Our Autumn camp was again held at the Po Leung Kuk holiday camp from Oct 22-24th. The theme was the chinese "Mid-Autumn" Festival and the camp certainly lived up to its theme with a host of colourful lanterns displayed all over.

During the day, activities such as arts & crafts were offered, along with face painting and numerous games organised by our games committee, the afternoon saw the opportunity for the children to demonstrate their artistic skills in a lantern making competition with Dr Yuen and Nurse Lau our panel of judges!

Entertainment was provided by a magician, Alex Yu surprised everyone with his magic show and some campers helped him out with amazing results........sweets were given out constantly! Each camper was also given an animal balloon scuptureling. The evening continued with a lantern parade at the outside arena.

Sunday saw a trip to the Lions Nature Education Centre.
